Bronze gear guide: your first full armour set
The complete, wiki-verified recipe chain for a full Bronze armour set and its base weapons: every material, station and Artisan XP value, from raw ore to a finished piece.
Where Bronze gear is made
Bronze armour pieces (helmet, platebody, platelegs) are crafted at the Armour Bench. Bronze weapons and the shield are crafted at the Blacksmith's Bench. Both use the Artisan skill. Bronze Bar itself is smelted at a Furnace from Copper Ore and Tin Ore, two of each per bar produced (the recipe actually yields 2 bars from 3 Copper Ore and 3 Tin Ore).
Base materials you need first
Bronze Bar: 3 Copper Ore + 3 Tin Ore at a Furnace, yields 2 bars, 5 Artisan XP.
Leather: 1 Animal Hide at a Tannery, 20 Artisan XP.
Hard Leather: 2 Leather + 1 Adhesive at a Tannery, 40 Artisan XP.
Wool Thread: 1 Fleece at a Spinning Wheel, 40 Artisan XP.
The full armour set
Bronze Helmet: 4 Bronze Bar + 2 Hard Leather + 1 Wool Thread at the Armour Bench, 60 Artisan XP. +9 melee / +7 ranged / +6 magic defence, 1250 durability.
Bronze Platebody: 10 Bronze Bar + 4 Hard Leather + 2 Wool Thread at the Armour Bench, 60 Artisan XP. +23 melee / +17 ranged / +15 magic defence, 1250 durability.
Bronze Platelegs: 6 Bronze Bar + 2 Hard Leather + 4 Wool Thread at the Armour Bench, 60 Artisan XP. +14 melee / +10 ranged / +9 magic defence, 1250 durability.
The full set shares the same set bonus: -33% Block Stamina Cost, +50% Crit Chance After Blocking, +25 Damage to Staggered Targets. Each piece repairs for 1 Bronze Bar.
Bronze weapons
Bronze Shield: 8 Bronze Bar + 4 Leather at the Blacksmith's Bench, 60 Artisan XP. 39 block, 1050 durability.
Bronze Sword: 8 Bronze Bar + 4 Leather + 1 Wool Thread, 60 Artisan XP. Slash damage, 31 to 56 base damage, 5-hit combo, special action Barge.
Bronze Dagger: 6 Bronze Bar + 3 Small Animal Fang + 1 Wool Thread, 60 Artisan XP. Stab damage, 20 to 51 base damage, 7-hit combo, special action Lacerate.
What comes after Bronze
Gear tiers scale up from here with higher power and defence ratings but far more varied materials. For comparison, Adamant Platebody (a later tier) needs 10 Adamant Bar, 8 Scorch Leather, 3 Desert Cloth, 3 Refined Obsidian, 3 Gypsum Wax and 3 Garou Weave for 7 power and 1500 durability, roughly double Bronze's defence at triple the material variety.
